COMPASS Initiative

What is the “COMPASS Initiative”?

CONSYLIUM’s COMPASS Initiative is designed to prepare company leaders for how to strategically navigate this rapidly shifting legislative landscape. Participating companies will be assigned a client-specific advisory council, referred to as CONSYLIUM Members (CMs), comprised of leading scholars, corporate and government affairs executives, legal experts, and/or organization executives who are selected using a detailed rubric and rigorous interview process. CMs are placed according to industry type, project scale, organizational sector (private v. public), and company partner needs.

What value does this bring to my company?

Many organizations are engaged in the important work of sharing valuable information on how to navigate the legislative climate via informational webinars, articles, and briefs. While these general overviews are essential, it is vital for companies to gain access to specific recommendations and solutions that are tailored to their unique needs. By participating in the COMPASS Initiative, CMs will support company partners by:

• Equipping senior leaders and organizational departments with the necessary legal literacy and tools to make informed micro- and macro-level decisions

• Supporting company leaders in building regulatory compliance frameworks to ensure policies are aligned with current shifts in legislation

• Building communication strategies that ensure organizational messaging is internally and externally cohesive

• Identifying, managing, and mitigating risk to safeguard company-wide programs and initiatives

• Offering data-driven, evidence-based strategies by leveraging multidisciplinary research and professional portfolios

• Helping maintain and reinforce existing structures of support for employees at all levels of the organization
